Before Easter I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Sarah and Andrew’s wedding in the Southern Highlands.

I spent pretty much the whole of today laughing; we (including the bridal party) had a ball … lots of funny moments.

Sarah looked gorgeous, very elegantly dressed and I loved the attention to detail ranging from the bridesmaids dresses to the set up of the reception.

Here is a few frames from their fabulous day. Enjoy your honeymoon :)

A few weekends ago I caught up with Nat & Ash for their e’session. It was a beautiful morning, perfect lighting conditions. Here are a few frames from that session. More on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Dianna-Watson-Photography/115697321849150

Thanks for a great morning. I am really looking forward to capturing your special day at Sylvan Glen in a few weeks time. See you soon :)

C&J’s e’session in Wagga

by : Dianna Watson

Due to the unfortunate floods in Wagga in early March, a few weeks later I managed to get there to photograph C&J’s e’session. And what a beautiful day it was! Gorgeous blue skies, feeling the sunshine and warmth on your skin – it felt like a summer we haven’t yet had.

Despite some locations were cornered off, we still managed to get some great shots in preparation for their November wedding at Sylvan Glen.

Thanks Courtnee and Jordan for a lovely morning. More photos are now available on your private viewing gallery. See you in November.

Recently I travelled up to Lithgow in the beautiful Blue Mountains to photograph Susan and Brenden’s wedding at the Uniting Church. The morning was just glorious, blue skies, sunshine and happiness in the air. Who could ask for a better day! After having a fun relaxing morning getting ready, we ventured outside for some family photographs.

Susan with her gorgeous little girl Azalia. So cute :)

We headed off to Lithgow Uniting Church, one of the most gorgeous churches I have seen. Susan looked gorgeous.

A beautiful ceremony was held even though the skies truly opened up while the ceremony was being conducted.Unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to take the group and family photographs outside the church due to the bad weather, but we managed to sneak away to Bowenfels Train Station where our prayers were answered and the sunshine came through. Here are some frames from that location.

Bridal party shots were taken at the Bowen Inn Motel, Lithgow.

As you can see from these frames, everyone from the young to old thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Thanks again for a brilliant weekend. I wish you all the very best for the future and keep in touch as I would be delighted to hear your baby news in a few weeks time.

More images available to Susan and Brenden’s guests via their private online viewing gallery at www.diannawatson.net.au/client then select weddings and their album and ask Suz for the password. Enjoy!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Maree and Paul’s wedding at the Botanical Gardens inSydneyfollowed by their reception held on the Starship Sydney cruise boat.

Earlier in the year I was also lucky to photograph Maree’s sister (Leanne’s wedding) at Summerlees.

Pre wedding photographs started in Balmain, followed by a stretched limousine drove us to the famous botanical gardens for the ceremony.

Maree and Paul’s boys, Riley and Sam looked the part, ever so cute in their suits.

Over 100 guests watched as Maree walked down the aisle by her father’s side, while Paul watched proudly.

The ceremony was conducted by Maree’s aunty Val Evans.

Symbolising Paul’s Irish heritage, an Irish harpist performed during the ceremony. Location shots were taken at Macquarie’s Chair and Sydney Opera House.

A big thank you to Shaun, who was marvellous help, a creative and fantastic assistant.

Thank you Maree and Paul for allowing us to capture your special day. I can’t wait to design your wedding album. Hope all is well in Qatar.

I was very excited about photographing my first wedding at the picturesque Montrose Berry Farm in Sutton Forest as the grounds are just beautiful. We were very fortunate for the rain to hold off until the reception started as those dark stormy clouds did worry us a bit after the ceremony. In all, it was a lovely day and evening full of fun, love and laughter. Thanks Kelly and Andrew for a brilliant day. I hope you have settled well into your new jobs in the Highlands.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting two young sweethearts, Tanya and Sam exchange vows and reunite in marriage.

Their wedding was held at picturesque Blenheims Beach in Vincentia and despite the miserable rainy conditions we experienced, this didn’t deter them in enjoying this special moment among family and friends.

Surprisingly enough the blue skies came out just in time for some location shots along the beach, before the lovely couple join their bridal party and family/friends for some photographs at The Butterfactory in Pyree.

Thank you for a magical night of memories.

Finette and Snow’s wedding was held at the Sebel Harbourside Kiama on the 11th of November 2011.

What a gorgeous day, one beautiful couple, divine sunny weather, who could ask for more!

Here is a sneak preview of some of their wedding images.

I love photographing weddings at Peppers Craigieburn Resort in Bowral. This modern and stylish estate consists of beautiful gardens and a golf course. I was honoured earlier this year to photograph Lyndal and Jon’s wedding among their family and friends. I love Lyndal’s style, she put so much attention to detail with everything ranging from the reception decorations to the bridesmaids’ dresses. Thanks for a fantastic fun filled day.

My first wedding for 2011 was photographing Pia and Jason at Peppers Manor House. The weather was perfect for this small family occasion. Here are some highlights from this beautiful wedding.
