What are your memories worth to you?
When someone contacts me about taking photographs of their children I don’t think of it as just shooting pictures for them. I think of it as creating memories for them.
It is true; time does passes us by way too fast. Before you know it, our newborns are toddlers, then young children. As much as we want time to slow down so we can savour all those precious growing moments we just can’t.
When I photograph a newborn at 6 days old, often times when I deliver the prints the baby already looks different. They change so fast! We can’t get that time back. So all we have are the photographs … the memories of that time frame in your child’s life. That is forever a treasure that will be passed down to your grandchildren one day.
